Introduction:

Welcome to Day 42 of the ‘Bless the Nation 50 Days of Prayer.’  The “It’s Time” event in Bloemfontein was truly a miraculous event.  It goes without saying that a solid foundation of prayer was responsible for everything that happened. Anton Stoltz, one of Uncle Angus’ spiritual sons and who heads up the intercession for Uncle Angus & Shalom Ministries, was also responsible for mobilizing Christians all over South Africa to pray for the event. In todays devotional Anton uses the example of Samuel to challenge us to form prayer groups to pray for the nation.

Good day South Africa. I greet you in Jesus precious name. My name is Anton Stoltz and I am going to tell you about the results of prayer. As you know we had the “It’s Time” event slightly over a month ago and prayer had a great influence on the success of the meeting. We have a team of over 800 intercessors across the world that was praying for our beloved country, South Africa. I want to quickly read a portion out of the book 1 Samuel 12:22. This is to show how serious Samuel regarded prayer. It says, “The Lord will not forsake His people for His great name’s sake. For it has pleased Him to make you a people for Himself. Moreover as for me far it be from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you, but I will instruct you in the good and right way.” From this portion you can clearly see how important Samuel regarded prayer. Now I have a challenge for you. Now I want to ask you guys, It’s Time has come and it went and what changes have occurred in your life so far. I want to ask the men you are Kings, Priests and Prophets in your houses. Are you praying in your house? Do your children see you praying because they will do what they see you do? Now I want to challenge you guys to start prayer groups everywhere. Most of you are probably in cell groups but I want to ask you to start prayer groups at your work place, in your house, in your schools, universities. It’s very easy, just get 1 person to pray with you because the word says when 2 or more are gathered in His name there He is in their midst. Isn’t that exciting and then people will just come and fall in and start praying together with you. The future of this country is on the lips of praying people. Friends it’s very important that we start to pray earnestly in seeking the Lord and His heart for this nation.

I would like to pray for you guys right now. Father, in the Name of Jesus everybody that is listening to this message right now, I pray that You will fill them with the Holy Spirit, with Your Holy Spirit and I pray that You will touch them, their families, their businesses, whatever they put their hands to, shall succeed in Jesus name. Father, I pray special blessing over them, I pray fill them with the Spirit of wisdom, revelation and understanding and Father, I pray, help them to establish these prayer groups. Wherever they might be, whether they be in the schools, business places, work places, with their colleagues, their home, wherever it might be and we pray that it shall succeed and shall be established in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen and Amen.

Daily Prayer Guide:

Father God, today we want to especially pray for the growing problem of human trafficking in our nation, and the abuse and misuse of women, men and children in this modern-slavery. We pray for prostitutes who are trapped into the sexual industry. We pray for children who are abducted and sold into sexual slavery. We pray for men who are addicted to pornography and sex. We pray for young people who are exposed to sexual content on Internet, TV, movies and phones from a very young age. We rebuke and bind the spirit of lust that had taken control of the minds and hearts of so many people in our nation. We pray for deliverance for all those who are victims of the sex industry. Please deliver us! We pray for a pure, holy, undefiled generation to rise up in our nation and who will take a stand against all the immorality and filth that are contaminating the minds of our young people. Father God, wash us with the blood of Jesus and heal South Africa.

INTERCEDE for the salvation of perpetrators: drug dealers, human traffickers, occultists, immoral and perverted sex-abusers, pimps, etc.

Father God, redeem South Africa out of all her troubles and have mercy on us, in Jesus Name. Amen
